Summary and Recent Events For ten years as a technical writer, I managed, developed, and edited documentation for a variety of organizations, mostly involved in technology development. I worked for 15 years as an engineer, testing and troubleshooting electronic equipment (radar, telecommunications, data acquisition, scientific sensors). In addition, I developed and sold K-12 remedial materials for math and science, which included several years of tutoring. Creative projects have included fiction, poetry, music, and blogs while researching and writing about how humanity's population and resource consumption might change in the future. Recently I published an anthology of writing and an album of related music. Recent experience has led me to become extremely concerned about our near-term future and to rethink my role in it.
